The Museum displays artifacts associated with the events of 9/11, while presenting stories of loss and recovery. The National September 11 Memorial Museum serves as the country’s principle institution concerned with exploring implications of the events of 9/11, documenting the impact of those events and deploring 9/11’s continuing significance. The Museum’s 110,000 square feet of exhibition space is located within the archaeological heart of the World Trade Center site-telling the story of 9/11 through multimedia displays, archives, narratives and a collection of monumental and authentic artifacts. The loves of every victim of the 2001 and 1993 attacks will be commemorated as visitors have the opportunity to learn about the men, women, and children who died.

9/11 Memorial

Your ticket also includes this tribute of remembrance and honor to the nearly 3,000 people killed in the terror attacks. The Memorial’s twin reflecting pools are each nearly an acre in size and feature the largest manmade waterfalls in the North America. The pools sit within the footprints where the Twin Towers once stood. The names of every person who died in the 2001 and 1993 attaches are inscribed into bronze panels edging the Memorial pools, a powerful reminder of the largest loss of life resulting from a foreign attach on American soil and the greatest single loss of rescue personnel in American history.

More than 80 merchants offer patrons fresh produce, meats, fish, groceries, flowers, baked goods, crafts, books, clothing, as well as hard-to-find specialties and ethnic foods. Shopping and dining become a pleasure in this warm, inviting, and unique atmosphere. The Reading Terminal Market, as it was over a hundred years ago, is reminiscent of personal, neighborhood shopping, and still offers something for everyone. A trip to Philadelphia would not be complete without stopping here.

Eastern State Penitentiary

Eastern State Penitentiary was once the most famous and expensive prison in the world, but stands today in ruin, a haunting world of crumbling cellblocks and empty guard towers. The general interest tour highlights Eastern State’s 142-year history, revolutionary and influential architecture, and stories of people who lived and worked in the building while setting the stage for conversations about criminal justice reform today.

Radio City Music Hall

More than 300 million people have come to the Music Hall to enjoy stage shows, movies, concerts and special events. There is no place like it to see a show or stage a show. Everything about it is larger than life.

Radio City Music Hall is the largest indoor theatre in the world. Its marquee is a full city-block long. Its auditorium measures 160 feet from back to stage and the ceiling reaches a height of 84 feet. The walls and ceiling form by a series of sweeping arches that define a splendid and immense curving space. Choral staircases rise up the sides toward the back wall. Actors can enter there to bring live action right into the house. There are no columns to obstruct views. Three shallow mezzanines provide comfortable seating without looming over the rear Orchestra section below. The result is that every seat in Radio City Music Hall is a good seat.

Christmas Spectacular

The Christmas Spectacular Starring the Radio City Rockettes is an annual musical holiday stage show presented at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. The 90-minute show features more than 140 performers and an original musical score, and combines singing, dancing, and humor with traditional scenes. The star performers are the women’s precision dance troupe the Rockettes. Since the first version started in 1933, the show has become a New York Christmas tradition.

Christmas Traditions Presentation

While you are finishing your meal, enjoy a Victorian Christmas Lecture. Much of what we associate with the celebration of Christmas comes from the Victorian Era, including Christmas trees, Christmas cards, our image of Santa Claus, and many other features. You will learn how Prince Albert brought these traditions to England from Germany when he married Queen Victoria, and how they then spread to America.

Washington Street Mall

The picturesque Washington Street Mall, located in Cape May, New Jersey, includes over 75 establishments in the heart of America’s original seaside resort. A variety of unique boutiques, shops, fine dining restaurants, bars, quick eats, activities, and services are located along a three block stretch of Washington Street, which is closed to vehicular traffic, as well as adjoining portions of Ocean Street, Decatur Street, Jackson Street, Perry Street, Carpenters Lane, and Lyle Lane. The Mall serves as Cape May’s town square, and features numerous benches, luscious gardens, shady trees, historical markers, gas lamps, bistro-style string lights, Instagram-worthy photo opportunities, and more.
